Synergy Global Housing has launched a new platform designed to “streamline” the management of extended stay and serviced accommodation for corporate travel and mobility programmes.
The US-based company said the portal known as SAPPHIRE, which stands for Simplified Accommodation Performance Platform for Housing Insights and Reservation Efficiencies, has been created to “align” with corporate policies to ensure compliance and increase traveller satisfaction.
SAPPHIRE also provides real-time data and analytics on spending, trends and traveller behaviour, as well as “elevated” security through its data protection measures plus a link to Synergy’s network of fully vetted apartments, aparthotels and other extended stay properties.
Henry Luebbert, co-founder and Interim CEO of Synergy, explained: “The launch of SAPPHIRE exemplifies our dedication to innovation and our focus on enhancing the corporate accommodation management and booking experience for all stakeholders.”
Another feature of the platform is its ability to integrate with existing travel and expense management systems. Synergy added that its API-enabled architecture allowed it to offer clients a “flexible, scalable and user-centric solution”.
Aaron Turner, Synergy’s chief technology officer, added that SAPPHIRE “represents a significant step forward” in using automation to refine and simplify processes.
“What makes SAPPHIRE stand out is its ability to provide bookers with accommodation options that are curated, vetted and delivered within the parameters of the client’s own travel policies,” said Turner.
